In 2024, the minimum value of retirement in Italy increases to 598,61 euros, thanks to the recovery in inflation, set at 5,4%.
However, thanks to the provision of the 2023 Budget Law, which provides for an additional increase of 2,7% for pensions that do not exceed the minimum limit, the amount increases to 614,77 Euros – Around R$3.300.
The information is from the National Social Security Institute (INPS), which, through a statement, clarified the increases that will be granted from January onwards for all retirement income, up to four times the minimum amount (2.271,76 euros per month from 2024 onwards), recovering 100% of the inflation, that is, 5,4%.
The minimum retirement amount for salaried and self-employed workers in 2024 is 598,61 euros per month for 13 months (7.781,93 euros per year).
The maximum amount to retire early is 2.394,44 Euros, a benefit equivalent to four times the minimum plus the guarantee range.
