Soave has around 7 thousand inhabitants and is located on the outskirts of Verona, in northern Italy. Its coronation took place last Sunday (17), when the municipality beat 19 other competitors in the grand final.
“Soave’s victory is a tangible sign of the richness of Veneto’s landscape heritage. Environment, culture and wine gastronomy are fundamental ingredients for a visit to the region”, declared the governor of Veneto, Luca Zaia, from the League party.
Located at the feet of Montes Lessini, Soave has its landscape marked by vineyards framed by walls of a castle dating from the 10th century. It is from these plantations that Soave comes out, a white wine with a controlled designation of origin well known among oenophiles.
