A Italian Festival of Our Lady of Casaluce It is reaching its 126th edition in São Paulo. The event is the oldest Italian-Brazilian celebration in the capital of São Paulo It takes place every weekend in May in the Brás neighborhood.

The culinary menu includes traditional options such as focaccia, pasta, polenta, and typical sweets, including cannoli. In addition to the food, the event offers performances by choirs, dance groups, and bands with a repertoire of classic Italian music.
The celebration originated in 1900 through a partnership between the local parish and immigrants. There are only two churches dedicated to Our Lady of Casaluce in the world. One is located in Italy and... the other one in the Brás neighborhood.
The event is for charity, and the profits are donated to social assistance projects. The religious program includes solemn masses, novenas, and the traditional procession with the image of the saint through the streets of the neighborhood.

The activities take place until May 31st. Opening hours are Saturdays and Sundays, from 17 pm to 23 pm. Admission is free for all visitors.
