A 3rd Italian Festival of Santos It starts this Saturday (15) at Parque Valongo, in the city’s Historic Center, with two days of gastronomy, music and attractions linked to Italian culture. Admission is free and the program runs from 12pm to 20pm, also on Sunday (16).
This edition takes place a year after the festival brought together around 80.000 visitorsAccording to the Santos City Hall, in 2025 the festival also caused an increase in hotel occupancy during the weekend.
This year, visitors will find dishes associated with different regions of Italy, as well as shows, theater, a creative economy fair, a children's area, and a historical tour about immigration.
From Sicily to Lombardy
The menu includes Neapolitan pizzasHandmade pastas, risottos, antipasti, cannoli, sfogliatella, gelato, tiramisu, coffees, wines, sparkling wines, and craft beers. Prices start at... 7 BRL.

The exhibitors represent culinary traditions from regions such as Sicily, Campania, Basilicata, Tuscany, Lazio, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Calabria, Lombardy, Puglia, Molise and Veneto.
Among the dishes announced are gnocchi with ossobuco ragu, orecchiette with gorgonzola, polenta with ragu, porchetta, lasagna, ravioli, cakeMortadella and pistachio panini, and different versions of antipasti.
Shows on both days
On Saturday, the program begins at noon. Livia Giraud presents Italian classics at 12:30 pm. Via Mari and Nino Fornaro take the stage at 14 pm, followed by the theatrical performance "Italy for those who eat" at 16:20 pm. Tenor Joel Gil performs at 15:15 pm and Degasperi closes the musical program starting at 18 pm.
On Sunday, Livia Giraud returns to the stage at 13 PM. Following her are Renato Gabianni at 15 PM, the show “Itália para quem Mangia” at 16:45 PM, and the Trio Via Roma at 18 PM. At 19:40 PM, a raffle for a cruise ticket, sponsored by [organization name], is scheduled. Italian Society of Santos and along the coast.
The tour tells the story of immigration.
The program also includes a walking tour. "Port of Santos: Gateway for Immigration"Departing at 15 PM from the Pelé Museum, the tour explores the relationship between the port and the arrival of immigrants to Brazil.
The choice of Valongo also has historical significance. The region was directly linked to the arrival of immigrants who came to the country through Santos.
Free bus
The City Hall will provide free transportation to the festival on both days. Buses will depart between 12 PM and 18 PM from two locations: Hotel Atlântico, at the corner of Presidente Wilson and Ana Costa avenues, and the Chico Mendes Botanical Garden, in Bom Retiro.
For the return trip, boarding will take place at Praça Mauá, from 14 PM to 19 PM. It is also possible to reach Parque Valongo via the walkways that connect the Historic Center to the pier.
The Italian Festival is organized by Italian Society of Santos and co-organized by the City Hall, through the Department of Tourism, Commerce and Entrepreneurship.
