O Milan Polytechnic was considered the best Italian university by the prestigious annual QS ranking.
The Milanese educational institution rose 12 positions in the QS World University Rankings list and currently occupies 111th place.
Among others colleges in Italy, the Milan Polytechnic is followed by La Sapienza de Roma, which climbed two steps and is in 132nd, and for University of Bologna, which also took the elevator and gained 21 new positions, occupying 133rd place.
Of the 42 universities in the country present on the list of QS, only three are among the top 150 and 15 managed to obtain positive results in the current edition of the table.
The university ranking, whose classification includes employability and sustainability factors, includes 1,5 universities from 106 countries.
Overall, the table is led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in the United States, followed by Imperial College London, in England, which rose four positions, and the University of Oxford. (Ansa Brasil)
