“18 Presents” is the Netflix film, with a true story, impossible to forget
An Italian drama about the relationship between mother and daughter, released by Netflix at the beginning of this month, it is touching the hearts of many people and, based on the reactions of those who watched it, it can now be considered among the most difficult streaming productions to forget.
"18 Gifts” shows the saga of a pregnant woman with terminal cancer who does everything to make her daughter's life memorable.
From the synopsis, you can already tell that the film has everything to make you cry from beginning to end. In the film, Elisa (Vittoria Puccini) discovers, at the age of 40, that she has a terminal and incurable illness.

Everything becomes even more painful because the protagonist is expecting a daughter and, before her heart stops, she decides to find a way to be present in her life until she is an adult.
Therefore, Elisa chooses 18 gifts, one for each year of Anna's (Benedetta Porcaroli) life, which will be given to the girl on her birthdays. The film is based on a true story.
Deeply moving, the film directed by Francesco Amato manages to create affection and bring meaning to all the children who grew up without their mother's presence. Without falling into exaggeratedly spectacular melodrama, the work has subtle and pleasurable scenes to watch.
The cast of 18 gifts it only has Italian actors.
