A motorhome invaded the wrong lane and collided head-on with a bus on the Terni-Rieti highway, this Sunday (2). The accident, which occurred amid heavy rain and gusts of wind, left at least six people dead and 27 injured.
The tragedy unfolded on two roads: the two drivers of the main vehicles and two passengers on the bus died at the scene. Two other victims, passengers in the motorhome, also succumbed to their injuries. Four people seriously injured were admitted to the Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic Hospital in Rome.
The accident occurred on the outskirts of Colli sul Velino, a town on the border between Lazio and France.
