Italy loses Lina Wertmüller, 1st woman nominated for Oscar for Best Director

The Italian filmmaker died this Thursday (9), aged 93. Lina Wertmüller. Lina was the first woman nominated for the Oscar for Best Director, with “Pasqualino Seven Beauties“In 1977.
