Suspense, sensuality and secrets are the ingredients that make up “Treacherous Love”, “Inganno” in Italian, the new Italian series from Netflix.
In six episodes, the series directed by Pappi Corsicato tells the story of Gabriella, a 60-year-old woman who becomes involved in a romance with Elia, a young man as enigmatic as he is seductive, played by Giacomo Gianniotti, the famous Andrew DeLuca from "Grey's Anatomy". Gianniotti was born in Rome.
The result? A thrilling and dangerous journey that defies social conventions.

A novel that shakes certainties
Gabriella (Monica Guerritore), owner of a luxurious hotel in Amalfi Coast, believes she has everything under control. Her children are grown, and she has built a solid life. However, when Elia enters her life, she rediscovers a long-dormant passion.
The relationship between the two challenges taboos, shaking the family balance and bringing to the surface questions about age, power and desire. As the romance deepens, Gabriella finds herself willing to risk everything, including her relationship with her children and the security of her assets.

Movie and TV stars in a sensual thriller
Monica Guerritore, known for her powerful performances in Italian cinema, and international star Giacomo Gianniotti lead the cast of the series, which also features other big names in Italian television and cinema.
“Amor Treiçoeiro” promises to mix the best of drama and suspense, and is based on the British series “Gold Digger”, adapted to the Mediterranean context.

With a script written by renowned Italian writers, the series offers much more than just a romance. It is a dive into complex family relationships, where secrets and betrayals come to light, showing that love, at any age, can be overwhelming — and dangerous.
