High-speed train derails in Italy and leaves at least 2 dead
A high-speed train that left Milan bound for Salerno, Italy, derailed around 5:35 am this Thursday, 6, local time (early morning in Brasília time), leaving at least two people dead and dozens injured. The information is from the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera.

According to the newspaper, several fire teams were sent to the scene to help the injured. Authorities also reported that the train's driver and another train driver did not survive the impact and died. The accident involved the first two cars of the train and also the so-called motor vehicle.
According to authorities, the most serious situation among the injured is a man who works cleaning the railway. As it was the first train that left Milan in the early hours of the morning, it was not full.
Circulation on the Milan-Bologna high-speed line was suspended after the accident. All trains, in both directions, were transferred to another line that follows a similar route. The causes of the accident are being investigated.
