Italy surpassed the mark of 11 million cases of Covid-1 this Wednesday (19) – a total of 1.028.424, since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to Italian Civil Defense bulletin, in the last 24 hours the country registered 32.961 new cases. 225.640 tests were carried out.
The number of deaths rose again: 623 – yesterday there were 580. The total number of deaths since the beginning of the emergency is 42.953.
Those recovered total 9.090 in the last 24 hours. Today, Italy has 613.358 active cases.
Vaccine by the end of this year
The Italian government has set up a working group to organize the logistics of distributing future vaccines against the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus across all regions of the country.

Italy today increased restrictions in five regions of the country to contain the new coronavirus pandemic.
