Fiat achieved impressive results in the Brazilian market in July, selling five times more vehicles than in Italy, its home country.
The brand led sales in Brazil with 50.471 units, while in Italy only 10.226 were sold.
This performance highlights Fiat's strength in Brazil, where the brand obtained a 22,2% market share, compared to a modest 8,2% in Italy.
In Brazil, Fiat saw growth of 14% compared to the same period last year, consolidating its leadership in the market.
The brand's best-selling vehicle was the Strada pickup truck, with 14.192 units, followed by the Argo and Fastback, which also had good sales figures.
In Italy, the Panda it was the best-selling model, with 7.337 units, but the brand recorded a 28,7% drop in sales compared to the previous year.
While in Brazil Fiat comfortably distanced itself from rivals Volkswagen and Chevrolet, in Italy the competition was fiercer, with Toyota and Dacia approaching in market share.
