Italian plastic surgeon Marco Gasparotti dies

O plastic surgeon Italian Marco Gasparotti passed away last Monday (26), aged 69.

Regarded as one of the 100 best professionals in the world, according to the Sherrell Aston Institute, in New York, he operated on more than 15 thousand patients, including personalities from the arts and business.

He graduated in medicine in Rome in 1978 and specialized in reconstructive plastic surgery in Parma in 1981. In addition, he attended the most prestigious universities in Brazil and the United States.

His death was announced by the Gruppo Gasparotti Instagram page. Colleagues like Emanuele Bartoletti, president of the Italian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, mourned the loss.

“He was not only a plastic surgeon of extraordinary talent, but also a mentor, a friend and a source of inspiration for all of us”, says the publication on the social network, which also adds “his enormous contribution to medicine and life of so many.” (HANDLE)
