One million Italians are expected to travel during the celebrations of Three Kings Day, a holiday in the European country, which this year falls on next Monday (6).
This is according to the Federation of Italian Hotel and Tourism Associations (Federalberghi), which predicts that 91% of travelers will choose Italy as a destination.
According to Tecnè, which carried out the survey on behalf of the institution, 54,1% intend to travel to a region of the country close to their own, while 30,9% do not intend to travel too far from their municipality.
The reason for travel for most Italians (61,8%) is rest, followed by fun (38,1%) and sports (17,6%).
