The ranking highlighted 20 cities based in Google search volume of 10 terms related to the theme of love in 44 provinces of Italy. Movies, restaurants, love songs, phrases, poems, first dates and Valentine's Day. 

The ranking of the most romantic cities in Italy includes Padua (20th), Brescia (19th), Bergamo (18th), Venice (17th), Foggia (16th), Palermo (15th), Latina (14th), Turin (13th), Taranto (12th) and Trento (11th).
