The song is the theme song for the film “The Life Ahead” starring Sophia Loren
“Io Sì”, the new single from Laura Pausini and original song from the film “The Life Ahead” is now available.
The clip features an emotional performance by Sophia Loren. The track is part of the eponymous EP, released on the 23rd, which includes versions of music in five languages, including Portuguese,”I Yes".
Directed by Edoardo Ponti, who also directed the film “The Life Ahead”, the video for “Io Sì (Seen)”, also features different women as protagonists. With their faces in the foreground, illustrating an epic series of identities that yearn for love, a theme that connects the music to the film.
Sophia Loren, who returns to the screen after ten years with “The Life Ahead”, participated in the music video, whose lyrics are about the great lesson of the character played by her in the film, produced by Palomar and which will be available on Netflix on November 13th.
The song's Italian lyrics, chosen for the original version of the film, are written by Warren and pausini, together with one of the most renowned Italian composers of the generation, Niccolò Agliardi.
