The Italian press reported on the resignation of the Minister of Health, Luiz Henrique Mandetta, announced by President Jair Bolsonaro, this Thursday (16).
O jornal La Repubblica highlighted that “Mandetta was forced to resign because he wanted tougher measures in the fight against coronavirus. In his place, an oncologist loyal to the president.”
In an extensive report, the Rome newspaper noted that "over the weeks, Mandetta gained popularity, overshadowing his former leader, who saved him from an old corruption investigation."
