According to the TGcom24 portal, Nepalese authorities announced the discovery of five bodies in the Yalung Ri region of the Himalayas, which could be those of climbers who disappeared last November. One of them is believed to be Marco Di Marcello, a 37-year-old biologist and climber from Castellalto, in the Teramo province. Biswash Karki, president of the rural municipality of Gaurishankar, confirmed the discovery of the bodies of "three foreigners and two Nepalese." Di Marcello's relatives are already on their way to Kathmandu to complete the identification procedures. According to the local newspaper Il Centro, a preliminary identification has already been made remotely by the family, based on photos sent by rescuers.
