Garibaldi, in Serra Gaúcha, will have a large themed parade on March 19th to close the end of the grape harvest and the 147 years of Italian Immigration in Rio Grande do Sul.
The allegorical parade of Harvest Summer will take Buarque de Macedo Street, in the Historic Center, from 16pm.
The theme of the parade was developed together with professor and designer Rosana Marina. The chosen street marks the arrival location of the first Italian immigrants in the state.
Over the years, the importance of immigrants was celebrated in community festivals as a way of sharing the culture and habits inherited from the European country.

The team emater de Garibaldi is responsible for organizing the communities and supporters of the event. With creativity and authenticity, the interior communities will build cars for the parade, which will highlight the strength and organization of Garibalense farmers.
At Praça Loureiro da Silva, there will be sales of local products such as sparkling wine, juice, cookies, among others.
The Harvest Closing Thematic Parade is a promotion of Garibaldi City Hall, through the Secretariats of Tourism and Culture and Agriculture, Emater, interior communities and has the support of the Secretariat of Urban Mobility, Municipal Council of Agriculture, Sicredi Serrana, Garibaldi Rural Workers Union, ECOA School of art, teams from the municipal gymkhana of Garibaldi, CIC Garibaldi, CEC, Military Brigade and Rotary.
