According to the lawyer, Brazil informed the Italian court that it accepts restricting the request to the case related to the weapon. However, the defense argues that the former congresswoman would also face another conviction upon arriving in the country.

“What nobody understood is that this crime, which would be the crime in the gun case, is a semi-open prison crime. But when she arrives in Brazil, she will fall into the clutches of Alexandre de Moraes,” declared Pagnozzi.

The lawyer stated that Zambelli would also serve the ten-year prison sentence imposed by the Supreme Federal Court (STF), a point which, according to him, was not clarified to the Italian authorities.
