Italian Prime Minister asks Italians for 'even greater civic sense' when talking about the country's opening
After two months of total quarantine, Italians are anxiously awaiting the reopening of the country, albeit gradually, starting this Monday (4).
The possibility of visiting family, being able to take the children to the parks and returning to work has shaken the shine of the nation that was hit by the new coronavirus virus.
But with all this expectation, prudence must prevail, according to Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. “It will be a new page that we will all have to write together, with confidence and responsibility,” he posted on his Facebook page. Facebook, this Sunday afternoon (3), about Phase 2.

And he continues: “until now the majority of citizens were sheltering in their homes. Starting tomorrow, more than 4 million Italians will return to work, use public transport again, many companies and factories will reopen. And there will be many more opportunities for possible infection, which we can only avoid thanks to an even greater sense of responsibility”, wrote the leader.
Conte urged caution and said that like never before, the country's future will be in the hands of its citizens. “We need collaboration, civic sense and respect from everyone.”
According to him, there is no right recipe to guarantee the resumption of activities in Italy without first thinking about everyone's health and safety.
“The more scrupulous we observe safety instructions, the sooner we can recover other spaces of freedom. We will not waste what we have painstakingly earned in fifty days. We will all have to change gears together in the country”, wrote Conte, and concluded: “I am confident, together we will achieve it”.
