Italy has decided to tighten the rules and will put particular pressure on those who chose not to take the Covid-19 vaccine.
From this Monday (6) you will need a certificate – called super green pass – that proves vaccination, recovery or recent negative test to ride buses, subways, intercity trains and to enter hotels, reports the Courier.
At this point it is now mandatory to present the certified to work, for long-term travel and to attend most indoor establishments.
The new rules aim to prevent the pandemic from evolving and, at the same time, not compromise the Christmas season.
The fine for those who do not respect the new rule varies from 400 to 1.000 euros – R$2500 to R$6400. The fine also applies to the owners of the establishments.
Currently, Italy has 84,75% of the population fully vaccinated against the virus, according to official data from the Ministry of Health. Since the end of November, the third dose has been administered in the country.
Entry of Brazilians into Italy
