Bento Gonçalves chooses the court for the 17th Wine Festival, this Saturday

The court of the 2022 National Wine Festival, in Bento Gonçalves, in Rio Grande do Sul, will be announced this Saturday (23). The start of the ceremony and parade is scheduled for 20pm.

The selection of the trio representing the 17th Fenavinho began on March 12th.

The candidates attended courses and lectures on subjects related to the history of Fenavinho and the Italian immigration, in addition to wine tasting and etiquette classes, and visits to tourist attractions and sector entities.

Today, the 18 contestants will have their final moments to convince the nine judges. The popular vote ended on April 20th and was carried out using a form from the Fenavinho website.

In addition to the pride of wearing the crown, for the first time, the chosen trio will receive a cash prize, in the amount of R$ 10 thousand, of which R$ 4 thousand for the Wine Empress and R$3 thousand for each of the two Bridesmaids.
