As it was in the past, so it is repeated in the present. Portuguese oligarchs are winding up modern caravels for yet another sad chapter in the history of this country. The witch hunt began with broad smiles on their faces as they celebrate their new form of segregation. Children, men, and women, whom they placed there, speak their language, but their blood does not run in our veins. Their rights are taken away. 47 percent of the Brazilian population has followed Portuguese until the third generation. Thank you, Portugal, for once again leaving me and my offspring, born in this land with Down syndrome, in Cesarean section. ✊
