According to RaiNews, RAI reorganized its radio and television schedule to honor Francesco Guccini shortly after the confirmation of the Italian singer-songwriter's death. Rai Radio 3 was the first to act: it announced the death live on the program Radio3 Mondo and altered the day's programming. The program L'Idealista rebroadcast a special episode featuring five of Guccini's songs and their literary references. Fahrenheit, presented by Susanna Tartaro, dedicated its entire edition to Guccini's music and featured Brunetto Salvarani, a theologian, close friend of the singer, and author of a biography about him.
Guccini was born in Pavane, in the Italian region, and is one of the central figures in Italian songwriter music.
