This Corpus Christi holiday will be more than a well-deserved break for people from Espírito Santo. The city of Vitória is preparing to host a cultural event of great magnitude: the Noi Siamo La Storia Italian Culture Festival, which marks 150 years of Italian immigration to Brazil.

The festival, organized by Federative Association of the Italian Community of Espírito Santo, will take place in the emblematic Praça do Papa, starting this Friday, May 31st.

The event, which began on February 17th with the exciting re-enactment of the departure and arrival of Italian immigrants followed by a mass in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Vitória, continues until Sunday, June 2nd. And it promises a true immersion in the rich and diverse Italian culture.

Over 40 cultural attractions Spread across three simultaneous stages, the Festival promises to delight visitors with a variety of presentations. Under the suggestive names of Espaço Vi e Vivi, Colosseum and Tower of Pisa, the stages will be the setting for choirs, musical shows, theater, and a true gastronomic journey, among other experiences.

Lima family

One of the musical highlights of the event will be the presentation of Lima family, who conquered Brazil with his soundtrack in the soap opera Terra Nostra, interpreting the classic Neapolitan song from the 19th century, "Funiculi Funicula".
