The Undersecretary of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mary Tripodi, participated in a G20 Trade Ministerial meeting in Brasilia. During his participation in the summit, Tripodi highlighted the importance of the European country in the multilateral trading system and in the World Trade Organization (WTO), insisting on the need to guarantee equal access to markets.

 The Italian also analyzed that market distortions always result in defeat for everyone, but an efficient and transparent economic and commercial environment can offer more sustainable and fair development.

In addition to her speech at the ministerial meeting in the Brazilian capital, Tripodi held bilateral meetings with her counterparts from Spain and France, Maria Amparo López Senovilla and Sophie Primas, respectively. (HANDLE)
