A 34th Festival of the Italian Agricultural Colony of Quiririm 2023 had its date set and its theme defined. The party should take place between April 26th and May 1st.
The traditional festival in tribute to Italian immigrants which formed the Italian colony of Quiririm, has free entry and features musical shows, dances, street theater, as well as the Quiririm Italian Immigration Parade.
In 2023, the theme of the celebrations will be “Quiririm is also love”, in the sense of reminding people that love must prevail in humanity, according to the president of the Cultural Association of Italian Traditions of Quiririm, Preta Valério.
With several stalls local foods and many decorations with the colors of the Italian flag, Quiririm is preparing to welcome around 250 thousand people to the 34th Italian Agricultural Colony Festival. In the six days of the event, an average of 10 tons of typical Italian pasta by the city's traditional families.
A "little Italy” of Vale do Paraíba will host the 34th edition of the event, celebrating 134 years since the arrival of Italian immigrants em Quiririm. The musical program should be announced soon.
