Acts in 30 cities in Italy deny the existence of the pandemic

More than 33 people have died and 233 have been infected. But for the group "March on Rome," created on social media, the coronavirus pandemic doesn't exist.

From Trento to Milan, passing through Bologna, Florence, Turin until reaching Rome. Thousands of demonstrators gathered this Saturday (30), in at least 30 cities, to protest against the government and deny the existence of the disease.

"The virus is a government trick to invent the crisis“, said the protesters.

Dressed in orange vests, the group shouted “freedom, freedom”.

“The virus is a Trojan horse, it does not exist and for this reason many today do not wear a mask” – said one of the protesters using a megaphone – “they are making us fail, I don’t know what their political design is, they want to remake social rules. They want to limit us and register us all,” he said.

"The virus is the biggest bluff in the organized history of world finance“, shouted another protester.

Virologists and epidemic experts responded on social media saying the demonstration was “an insult to victims and doctors".

In addition to denying the existence of Covid-19, the protesters called for the government to resign, the formation of a new constituent assembly and Italy's exit from the euro.
