Tradition and solidarity at the heart of Zecchino d'Oro.

Created in 1959 and broadcast by Rai Since then, the Zecchino d'Oro has united music and solidarity. The competition is promoted by the Antoniano di Bologna, founded in 1954 with the aim of using art as a tool for social inclusion.

Antoniano also maintains the “Operazione Pane” campaign, which supports 25 soup kitchens — 20 in Italy, in addition to units in Syria, Ukraine and Romania — and offers therapeutic support to children with physical and cognitive disabilities.

For the current director, Friar Giampaolo Cavalli, the objective is clear: "Beyond bread for the hungry, we want to offer culture and beauty as instruments of healing and collective well-being."
