On the eve of the end of her mission in São Paulo, Brazil, as deputy consul in the capital of São Paulo, Livia Satullo was awarded the Necklace of Honor for Legislative Merit of the State of São Paulo by the Legislative Assembly (Alesp).
This is the highest honor that the Legislative Assembly of SP grants to those who have contributed to the development of the state.
“This recognition marks the end of my four years in São Paulo. Years full of challenges and opportunities in the city with the largest number of Italian descendants in the world, with the richest and most diverse business community that Italy can boast abroad,” said the diplomat.
During his years of service in Brazil, Satullo contributed to a complete restructuring of the Consulate General, which “increased consular services, in some cases by up to 50%, strengthened the visibility of the Consulate and Italian institutions, and created promotional events to bring an ever-growing audience of Brazilians, residents of São Paulo, and those from the city of São Paulo closer to Italy.”HANDLE)
