A Italy Selection released on Tuesday night, on its social networks and on the official website of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC, in its acronym in Italian), the list of 26 players summoned for the dispute of Eurocup.
Three Brazilians on Italian citizenship remained in the group after the latest coach changes Roberto Mancini: defender Rafael Tolói, left-back Emerson Palmieri and midfielder Jorginho.

From the preliminary list of 28 names, the coach removed defender Gianluca Mancini (Roma), midfielder Matteo Pessina (Atalanta) and forward Matteo Politano (Naples). Additionally, he added Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori.

The Italian national team is in Group A of the European Championship, along with Wales, Switzerland, and Turkey. Their first match will be on June 11th against Turkey at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. This match is the opening game of the competition, which will conclude on July 11th at Wembley Stadium in London.
Last week, Italy beat San Marino 7-0 in a preparatory friendly. Their next preparatory game for the Euro Cup will be this Friday against the Czech Republic. On the 17th, the FIGC announced the renewal of Roberto Mancini's contract.

The coach's new contract, who took over the team in 2018, shortly after the country was left out of the World Cup in Russia, runs until June 2026.
