The Brazilian community in Rome is organizing a demonstration in support of federal congresswoman Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) for Friday, November 8th. The event is scheduled for 15 pm (local time) at Piazza dei Santi Apostoli, in the central area of the Italian capital.
Zambelli has been detained in Italy since July 29, after her name was added to Interpol's wanted list. The arrest warrant was issued by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on June 5. She is accused of hacking into the National Council of Justice (CNJ) systems and was sentenced to ten years in prison.
Since her arrest, the congresswoman has undergone three custody hearings. The Italian court denied her defense's appeals, keeping her in closed custody while awaiting the outcome of the extradition process.
The demonstration on the 8th has the support of Eduardo Tagliaferro, who publicized the event on social media. "We hope to see you in Rome, true democracy in support of Brazilians, let's support Carla Zambelli," he declared.

The former head of the Special Advisory Office for Combating Disinformation at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) accuses Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes of tampering with documents in Federal Police proceedings — an accusation denied by the judge.
Tagliaferro was detained in Italy but later released. However, the local court retained his passport and ruled that he can only leave the city where he resides with judicial authorization.
Tagliaferro and Zambelli are Italian citizens.
