A 28-year-old Brazilian tourist decided to seal his commitment to his girlfriend when the railway police returned his family ring, which had been stolen.
The couple was en route to Verona, where the young man planned to make the formal proposal. on the famous balcony of Juliet's HouseHowever, while they were waiting for the train, the Brazilian man had his backpack and a suitcase stolen. Thanks to a GPS signal installed in the backpack, agents from the crime prevention department were able to track the items. The perpetrator of the theft, a 35-year-old Algerian citizen in an irregular situation in Italy, was located in a bar on Via dei Transiti while having a drink.
