On the four weekends of August, in São Caetano do Sul, the 29th edition of the Festa Italiana takes place, which returns with new features, after two years of pandemic. The opening will be this Saturday (6/8), at 18pm.
The party is held at Praça Comendador Ermelino Matarazzo, in Bairro Fundação.
28 typical food and drink stalls maintained by the city's charities will offer options for all tastes, such as pizza, polenta, spaghetti, focaccia, gnocchi, polpetta, cannoli, among others. Check out the digital menu with prices and options for each stall: bit.ly/festaitaliana_cardapio.

As for the musical portion, Fred Rovella, Tony Angeli, Vivi Sorella, Mardoqueu Borguesi, Andrea Bien, and Ivan Luigi, among others, will sing classics such as Volare, O Sole Mio, La Solitudine, Bella Ciao, and many other songs that marked an era.
“It is a party that does not lose its roots in São Caetano, which is proud of its Italian colonization. The event is increasingly exuberant, attracting thousands of families”, says the mayor José Auricchio Junior. “At this time of controlled pandemic, we can get together again. It will be a celebration of life”, adds the mayor.
The expectation is to receive more than 100 thousand people over the four weekends.
