Six Brazilian pizzerias are among the 100 best in the world, according to the ranking 50 Top Pizzas 2025, released on September 8. The survey, carried out by the Italian guide, included five houses in São Paulo and one in Rio de Janeiro.
São Paulo tied with Naples, Italy, as the city with the most pizzerias listed. Establishments were evaluated based on the quality of their ingredients, preparation techniques, and customer experience.
Leggera Pizza Napoletana – 3rd place (São Paulo)
With locations in Perdizes and Jardins, Leggera is run by chef André Guidon. The restaurant follows the Neapolitan style, featuring individual pizzas, natural fermentation, and Italian ingredients.

- Most expensive pizza: Cacio e Ragù (Wagyu beef and special cheeses) — R$85

Iron and Flour – 31st place (Rio de Janeiro)
Founded in 2013 by New Yorker Sei Shiroma, the pizzeria has locations in neighborhoods such as Ipanema, Leblon, Barra da Tijuca, and Botafogo. The pizzas are made in a wood-fired oven.

- Most expensive pizza: Testa Rossa (mortadella and pistachio pesto) — R$82

Mooca Pizza – 36th place (tie, São Paulo)
Founded in the Mooca neighborhood, the pizzeria has other locations in Pinheiros and Vila Mariana. The traditional flavors and the old warehouse setting highlight the restaurant's Italian identity.

- Most expensive pizza: Amatricina or Prosciutto — R$76 (4 slices) / R$98 (6 slices)

QT Pizza Bar – 36th place (tie, São Paulo)
Located in Cerqueira César, west of São Paulo, QT Pizza Bar combines gastronomy and cocktails. It's run by chef Matheus Ramos.

- Most expensive pizza: Burrata with prosciutto — R$130

Unica Pizzeria – 50th place (São Paulo)
Located in the Campo Belo neighborhood, Unica embraces Neapolitan tradition and respect for simplicity. The fermentation is natural, and the ingredients are imported.

- Most expensive pizza: Porcini and Tartufo (mushrooms and black truffle) — R$96

Veridiana – 96th place (São Paulo)
With locations in Jardins, Higienópolis, and Perdizes, Veridiana offers larger pizzas made to share. Customers can choose up to three toppings per pizza.
Most expensive pizza: variety of flavors like Parma and artichoke — R$89 (P) / R$136 (G)
Cheapest pizza: La Vera Napoletana — R$72 (small) / R$105 (large)
