23 teachers undergo training to teach Italian to students in municipal schools in 2020 

The Municipality of Bragança Paulista, through its Department of Education, has signed an agreement with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – through the Italian Consulate General in São Paulo and the managing entity Instituto Cultural Ítalo-Brasileiro de São Paulo (ICIB) – for Italian language training for teachers working in the Municipal Education Network.

According to the local city hall, since March 2018, 23 teachers have participated in the training. After 150 hours of training, they will be able to speak Italian and will be able to teach Italian to full-time students at municipal schools in Bragança Paulista, starting in 2020.
