The Italian Ministry of University and Research has published regulations for those who want to study in the country in the next academic year.
The regulations, which follow the emergency provisions of the virus epidemic COVID-19, can be consulted online at Studying-in-italia.it.
Students who need a entry visa To study in Italy, you must enroll regularly at the university and obtain the relative entry visa by November 30th.
Later this year, foreign students will be able to pre-register in the chosen university course directly over the Internet, through the portal universitaly.it.
This possibility will also be allowed for foreign students who intend to enroll in courses at Higher Education Institutions in Music and Dance (AFAM) and Higher Schools of Linguistic Mediation (SSML), as well as students who intend to participate in the Marco Polo and Turandot international mobility programs for the 2022/2023 academic year.
To carry out the admission and knowledge tests of the Italian language in the periods prior to candidates obtaining local qualifications, the Embassies and Consulates will issue interested parties a short-term “Study” visa, with validity proportional to the student’s needs to take the selection tests.
After passing the admission tests, the consular representation will issue the student visa “Immatricolazione Università".
