The municipality of Orsara di Puglia, in the Puglia region, launched an incentive program to attract new residents.

The initiative offers up to 5 thousand euros – around R$ 30 thousand – for those who transfer their residence and habitual domicile to the city – with around 3.268 inhabitants.

The resources are part of the “Fondo di Sostegno ai Comuni Marginali” and must be used for the purchase and renovation of properties intended for the main residence.

The city council has earmarked a total of 67.256,75 euros for the project, which also seeks to stimulate the local economy.

You can apply Italian citizens, Europeans or foreigners with a valid residence permit.

In addition, it is necessary to prove residence in Italy for at least five consecutive years.

Anyone who receives the incentive must maintain their residence and housing in Orsara di Puglia for a minimum period of five years.
