Just as happened in the first round, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) won again Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in Italy.
According to data from the Superior Electoral Court (TSEIn Milan and Rome, the Workers' Party candidate obtained 5.820 votes, representing 55,37% of the valid votes, compared to 4.692 (44,63%) for the current president.
In Rome, the PT member obtained 59,78% of the valid votes (2.449) and the current president won 40,38% of the votes (1.648).
In Milan, the largest electoral college for Brazilians in Italy, Lula received 52,55% of the votes (3.371 votes) and Bolsonaro obtained 47,45% of the valid votes (3.044).
In relation to the first round, held on October 2, Lula attracted 402 more voters, and Bolsonaro, 808.
According to the Italian National Statistics Institute (Istat), 50.666 Brazilians reside in Italy (data from January 2021), but, according to the Overseas Electoral Registry Office, in Brasília, 20.972 Brazilian voters in Italy were eligible to vote.
Brazilians have two consular jurisdictions, respectively in Milan, in the north, and in Rome, in the center of the country.
