Na Grécia, a temperatura atingiu -7ºC na cidade de Tessalônica e -10ºC é esperado para o domingo.
O frio também atingiu Istambul e a companhia aérea Turkish Airlines cancelou mais de 650 voos. A agência de notícias turca Dogan informou que uma das principais rodovias virou praticamente um estacionamento, já que motoristas abandonaram os carros devido às pistas escorregadias e cobertas pela neve.
