On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Italian immigration to Brazil and the Year of Italian Roots in the World, the first edition of the Pittoresca Made in Italy Award was launched, which will offer the winners an experience in the European country in 2025.
Entrepreneurs with at least five years of experience in the state of São Paulo and young people aged 16 to 22 and residing in the same region can compete.
Registration is free and will remain open from July 10th to September 30th, through the Spazio Italocam Latino America platform, the first hub to connect Italians and descendants in Latin America.
Interested parties need to send creative proposals in texts, images or videos that address the influences of Made in Italy in São Paulo or that propose ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in one of the following categories: Enogastronomy, Lifestyle and Wellbeing and Technology and Innovation.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.

The complete regulation, which can be read in Portuguese or Italian, is available available on the Pittoresca website and on the platform Spazio Italocam Latino America.
The jury for the award is made up of the Consul General of Italy in São Paulo, Domenico Fornara, the president of the city's Circolo Italiano, José de Lorenzo Messina, the former Italian deputy and TV presenter Gabriella Carlucci (also the godmother of the first edition) and the creators of the award: the founder of Pittoresca, Bruna Pit, and the founder of ItalyRooting Consulting, Letizia Sinisi.
The proposals submitted for the Enogastronomy category will be evaluated by Gerardo Landulfo, delegate of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina in São Paulo, and Vito Mastrosimini, marketing manager of the Federazione Italiana dei Cuochi.
The Lifestyle and Wellbeing category will be represented by Ricardo di Lazzaro Filho, geneticist and founder of Genera, and Dina Ravera, president of the tourism group Destination Italia. Finally, the Technology and Innovation category features Filippo Di Cesare, CEO of Engineering Brasil, and Italian astrophysicist Gianluca Masi.
The public will also be able to participate in the vote: simply register for free on the Spazio Italocam Latino America platform and choose the best proposal in each category within the groups of participants.
The final result is expected to be announced on December 17th of this year, and only the first placed in each category will receive an experience in Italy in 2025 as a prize. (HANDLE)
