A consumer association Italian company carried out the survey with around 10 thousand people. She asked respondents which supermarkets they considered trustworthy. The responses were divided into three categories: prices, ease of buying everything in the same place and quality of the products purchased.
In the general level of satisfaction, the differences between hypermarkets, supermarkets and stores discount are minimal based on the answers provided by respondents.
The votes cast by the Altroconsumo They are expressed in numbers from 0 to 100. Among the aspects taken into consideration in the research are: hygiene and cleaning; ease of purchasing everything at the same point of sale; quality of fresh food; prices in general and waiting time at the checkout.
Tosano

Tosano, a giant of the GDA group, which operates in Veneto, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna with 17 hypermarkets, occupies the first position in the ranking of the best supermarkets based on prices.
According to the analysis carried out by Altroconsumo, the score obtained is 86, more than any other chain in Italy.
Eurospin

Second position goes to Eurospin. The score obtained by Altroconsumo in relation to prices is 85.
iN's

With a score of 84 out of 100, the network iN's occupies third place in the ranking of the best supermarkets in Italy in terms of prices.
Price

The net Price obtained the same score: 84 out of a total of 100, and shares third position in the ranking with In's.
Esselunga

O Esselunga occupies first place in the ranking that evaluates the ease of purchasing everything in the same place. The score obtained by the survey Altroconsumo is from 85.
Ipercoop

Ipercoop obtained the same score as Esselunga. Coop is a system of cooperatives and its headquarters are located in Reno, province of Bologna. The first store was opened in Turin in 1854.
Hyper

Along with Esselunga and Ipercoop, Iper also received a score of 85 in the Altroconsumo ranking.

In the ranking of the most convenient supermarkets in Italy, under the title “easy to buy everything”, the chain Poli scored 84 points, just one less than Esselunga, Ipercoop and Iper.
Cadoro

Cadoro wins in the ranking dedicated to the quality of products purchased: the score obtained after the survey carried out by Altroconsumo on a sample of around 10 thousand people is 86.
Mega

Regarding the quality of the products purchased, the Mega chain received 83 points out of 100, thus occupying second place in this special ranking behind Cadoro.
