List reveals the most expensive beaches in Italy: daily rates reach R$2 per week

Dreaming of spending your dream summer in Italy? Then prepare your wallet.

A survey by consumer association Altroconsumo revealed the ten most expensive beaches in the country in 2025. 213 establishments in ten locations were analyzed, considering prices in the week of August 3 to 9 for a package with an umbrella and two loungers or chairs, for the average weekly daily rate.

Over the past four years, the average weekly cost has risen 17%, from 182 euros (approximately R$1.064) in 2021 to 212 euros (R$1.239) in 2025. In just one year, the increase was 5%, surpassing Italian inflation, which hovers around 2%. Small extras, such as showers, cabins, beach toys, and refrigerators, also weigh on the budget.

The saying goes, "converters don't have fun," but for ease of use, we've calculated all values in Brazilian reais. See below.
