Nice, an Italian multinational that operates in the residential automation, security and intelligence segment, announced the start of operations in Santa Rita do Sapucaí (MG). The investment in the group's new factory is R$20 million, generating 100 direct jobs. The information is from the G1 Sul de Minas portal.
According to Nice, the opening of the new plant in the South of Minas is part of a more comprehensive investment plan in the country. The Santa Rita do Sapucaí factory, which covers 6,2 square meters, will be the heart of the company's production of electronic components, whose portfolio includes gate automation, electronic security and access control solutions in Brazil.

The Italian multinational Nice has production units in six countries and a direct presence in more than 100, according to a statement from the group. In addition to Santa Rita do Sapucaí, the company has factories in Brazil in Limeira (SP) and São Caetano do Sul (SP).
In Brazil, the factory employs around 700 employees, including all subsidiaries. Last year, the company's global revenue was €368,2 million in 2018. Brazil represents 15% of this total.
