Rumor says that in Bergamo only 1 in 10 deaths is directly related to Covid-19
The chain circulating on the internet about the medical conclusion based on autopsies performed in Italy that the Covid-19 does not kill due to pneumonia. The information that the disease, even in its initial stage, should be treated at home, with antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and anticoagulants, is also incorrect.
The message that went viral indicates that Italian doctors discovered from cadaveric examinations – 50 autopsies – that coronavirus victims died as a result of circulatory problems, and not respiratory complications, as previously thought.
Health authorities such as the WHO (World Health Organization) and the Brazilian Ministry of Health, however, classify Covid-19 as an infectious disease that can present serious respiratory conditions.

According to “news” circulating on social media, the main reason, according to the publication, is venous embolism resulting from the antibody production process, and not pulmonary embolism as the authorities are attesting.
Also according to the publication, only 1 in 10 deaths would be directly related to Covid-19.
The same message also indicates that antibiotics and anti-inflammatories have positive effects if administered at an early stage. According to fake news, the solution would be hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, zinc and other “allies” to treat inflammation. Again, information without scientific proof.

Therefore, if inflammation in the blood is treated initially with antivirals, such as Hydroxychloroquine, Azithromycin, zinc and other allies... patients would not need respirators and could be treated in their homes... as Italy is doing now! REFERENCE…" (sic).
Besides fake news, the story is criminal when citing the lack of need for respirators and minimizing Covid-19, and with this it brings very serious consequences for the population.
Preliminary clinical results
Complications can also lead to thrombosis in patients with Covid-19, but there has still been no change in medical protocols and treatments. At the beginning of the month, preliminary clinical results obtained at Hospital Sírio-Libanês showed that stopping the clotting that occurs along with the hyperinflammation caused by Covid-19 can help prevent deaths from the disease.
The experiment at the hospital consisted of gradually increasing doses of anticoagulants in patients hospitalized with coronavirus in serious condition. But there is still no proof of the method's effectiveness, nor of the use of anticoagulants for the initial stage of the disease.
What we have, for now, is that remdesivir became on Wednesday (29) the first medicine to be announced by the American government as capable of improving the situation of Covid-19 patients.
A study reportedly showed that the antiviral reduced patients' median recovery time from 15 to 11 days. “Recovery”, in this case, means leaving the hospital and returning to normal activities.
