Inspired by Italian locations, these cities, mainly in the South and Southeast, are a living tribute to the cultural and historical heritage brought by Italian immigrants.
More than just names, they represent the deep bond and traditions that traveled across the Atlantic and took root on Brazilian soil.
Rio Grande do Sul
Italian immigration found fertile ground in Rio Grande do Sul, where Italians helped found cities that are now cultural references. With a large presence of Italian descendants, the state pays homage to the European origins of its inhabitants.
Nova Bassano: Inspired by Bassano del Grappa, in the province of Vicenza, Veneto region, Nova Bassano preserves Italian cultural traditions and the memory of its first immigrants.
