Brazilian singer and composer Toquinho announced that he will return to the stage in Italy with the “60 years of career” tour.
Between May 19th and 25th, the musician will visit the cities of Cagliari, Padua, Milan, Catania, and Rome.
Toquinho will present to the public the songs that marked his highly successful career. The shows will also bring back moments from the artist's history, paying tribute to friends, composers and collaborators.
The singer will share the stage with Camilla Faustino, one of the leading voices of the New Brazilian Popular Music movement.
Next month, Toquinho will travel to Italy to perform a duet with Italian-Brazilian singer Gaia Gozzi at the traditional Sanremo Festival. Together, they will perform Ornella Vanoni’s historic song “La voglia, la pazzia” on the stage of the Teatro Ariston.
The track that will be presented on February 14th by the musicians is on the album “La voglia la pazzia l'incoscienza l'allegria”, published in 1976 and created in collaboration with Toquinho and Vinícius de Moraes.
