Despite a 23% increase in the last ten years, the remuneration of Italian civil servants remains far from the standards of the main countries in the bloc.
Salary differences
The difference in salaries is significant. While a German civil servant receives €2.584 more than an Italian, countries like Sweden (€3.700), Ireland (€4.300) and the Netherlands (€3.600) also maintain a significant salary advantage.
