The Italian and World Tennis Federations (FITP and ITF, respectively) announced on Monday (2) that Italy will host the Davis Cup finals from 2025 to 2027.
The northern city of Bologna will host the tournament's Final Eight next year, scheduled to be played between November 18 and 23.
However, the venues for the 2026 and 2027 Davis Cups have not yet been decided, but the municipalities of Turin and Milan would be the main favorites.
The big surprise of the competition could be Bolzano, since the president of FITP, Angelo Binaghi, expressed the desire to organize one of the editions in the city, considered the home of Jannik Sinner, current world number 1 and a big tennis star in the country.
The news confirms how much the sport has grown in Italy, the current two-time Davis Cup champion. In addition to hosting the national team tournament, which has been held for the past three years in Malaga, Spain, the country will also host the ATP Finals until 2030.
